Franklin County, Pa., native named Hagerstown Regional Airport director

He will take over the role on Nov. 5 after being unanimously approved by the Washington County Commissioners. Plessinger succeeds Airport Director Phil Ridenour. Ridenour is retiring, but he will work part time from Nov. 19 to Feb. 16 to aid in the transition, according to an email from county spokeswoman Danielle Weaver. Shenandoah University names first provost

WINCHESTER, Va. — Adrienne G. Bloss, previously vice president for academic affairs at Shenandoah University, has been named the university’s first provost. “This title change more fully reflects the full breadth and diversity of academic programming overseen by Dr. Bloss,” Shenandoah University President Tracy Fitzsimmons said in a news release.
