Holzshu, a Philadelphia native, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Duquesne University, and graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. Morgan-Keller to begin Meritus outpatient project

FREDERICK, Md. — Morgan-Keller announced that it will soon begin construction of the new Meritus Medical Center outpatient-services building in Hagerstown, Md. The project involves construction of a single-story, 52,000-square-foot medical office building for outpatient services, including primary care, lab, imaging, rehabilitation and urgent care. The project will also include full build-out of the interior as well as associated site work, Morgan-Keller reported. The developer is Ghattas Enterprises, and the architect is CallisonRTKL Inc. MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Dr. Abhishek Anand has joined WVU Medicine University Neurology and Neurosciences. He is also a member of the medical staff at Berkeley Medical Center, where he will provide inpatient neurological consultations. Anand completed his neurological residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he was chief resident his final year. He is a medical school graduate of the Mahatma Ghandi Institute of Medical Sciences in India. FREDERICK, Md. — The Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area recently hired new Assistant Director Emily Huebner. Huebner comes to the position after several years as a research archivist at the Maryland State Archives, where she collaborated on both the Study of the Legacy of Slavery in Maryland and the Maryland 400 Project.
