Keller Stonebraker Insurance Inc. recently announced the promotion of John A. Latimer IV to president of the agency.
In a separate move, Jason D. Call joined the agency in September as chief operating officer.
In addition to serving as a risk management professional to his clients, Latimer has been involved in organizational and strategic leadership. He brings a combination of technical, business and financial knowledge to the position along with a strong institutional understanding.
Latimer has more than 15 years of insurance and risk management experience and 24 years in the Washington County business community. He received a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from Emory & Henry College and holds professional designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager.
A graduate of Leadership Washington County, he is a past board chairman of the United Way of Washington County, Hagerstown Rotary Club and Washington County Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Greater Hagerstown Committee and currently serves on the boards for the Washington County Industrial Foundation (also known as “CHIEF”), Fountain Head Country Club and Longmeadow Volunteer Fire Co. He and his wife, Cassandra, live in Hagerstown with their son, Austin.
Call joins the organization with more than a decade of leadership within the international banking sector. He has experience influencing and shaping change through operational policy work, analytics, compliance, benchmarking and financial management.
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, communications and business administration, Call earned an M.B.A from Texas A&M University. He is a graduate of Leadership Washington County and serves on the board for the Maryland Symphony Orchestra. Call is also a former Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America. He and his wife, Dadra, live in Hagerstown with their five children.
