FREDERICK, Md. — First United Bank & Trust has completed renovations at its Riverside Community Office at 1990 Monocacy Blvd. in Frederick.
“We know that people are tech-savvy and want the convenience of mobile and internet banking,” said Carissa L. Rodeheaver, chief executive officer, chairman of the board and president of First United Bank & Trust. “But we also realize that we still have many customers who want to see and talk to their bankers.
“This is an exciting time, and the Frederick area is the perfect location for our new approach to the banking experience. We remain true to our traditional banking values while providing customers with the newest technologies and modern conveniences that we have to offer.”
New technology available to customers will include an advanced ATM with envelope-free deposits, a Discovery Center and beverage bar.
The Discovery Center will allow customers to use new touch screens and tablet technologies for themselves or have a banking specialist guide them through any of the new digital tools.
First United Bank & Trust has a network of community offices in Garrett, Allegany, Washington and Frederick counties in Maryland, as well as Monongalia, Harrison, Mineral and Berkeley counties in West Virginia.
