Brechbill & Helman to build SpringHill Suites

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Brechbill & Helman Construction Co. Inc. has been awarded a contract for the SpringHill Suites that will be built off Interstate 81 at Walker Road, Exit 17, just north of Chambersburg.

The 57,426-square-foot, four-story hotel will consist of 88 guest rooms, according to a news release. Amenities will include an indoor pool with a handicap lift, guest laundry, lounge, buffet bar, a fitness room, business center, front patio with fire pit, rear patio and a drive-through canopy.

The 2.6-acre site also is to offer car-charging stations.

Meister-Cox Architects from Wyomissing, Pa., is the architect. Snyder, Secary & Associates LLC from York, Pa., is the civil engineer.

Construction is scheduled to begin this fall. Estimated completion will be mid-summer 2018
