Morgan Co., W.Va., sees new business growth

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Ten new businesses were incorporated or started in Morgan County, W.Va., during August.
That’s the highest number of new businesses registered in Morgan County during the last 12-month period, according to the West Virginia Secretary of State’s Business & Licensing Division.
According to the division, 983 new or foreign businesses registered to do business in West Virginia during August.
Since Secretary of State Mac Warner took office on Jan. 16, 7,351 new business entities have registered with the office.
