HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Meritus Endocrinology Specialists — Robinwood recently welcomed Dr. Douglas D. Clarke.
Clarke is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, specializing in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Clarke completed his internal medicine residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va., and his endocrinology fellowship at the National Capital Consortium in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Meritus, he was an assistant service chief and endocrine staff physician at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., following a lengthy career with the U.S. Navy, including deployments to Iraq and Kuwait.
Also at Meritus Endocrinology Specialists, Dr. Anteneh W. Zenebe recently achieved his Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, or FACE, recognition.
The hospital recently welcomed the following new providers: Dr. Yubaraj Bhandari, Meritus Behavioral Health Services, and Dr. Maryam Keshtkar-Jahromi, hospitalist.
