Bitner-Henry Insurance

Bitner-Henry Insurance welcomed Ashton Pope, Paul Robinson and Kathyrn Gratton to the firm in March.

Pope, a customer service representative, is from Texas and a graduate of New Beginning Christian Academy. She holds her property and casualty license in eight states and previously worked in sales and service in the auto insurance division for three agencies.

Robinson, also a customer service representative, focuses on claims administration. He is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College and has a West Virginia property and casualty license. He previously has worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance and Arthur J. Galllagher and Co.

Gratton, a marketing coordinator, is a graduate of Kaplan University. She had worked as the director of membership development for the Hagerstown-Washington County Chamber of Commerce since 2011. She also serves as the vice chairwoman of SCORE Hagerstown and as a bold futures mentor for Girls, Inc. of Washington County.

Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute

Dr. Damian Roussel of the Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute, was among the number of foot and ankle surgeons from around the world who gathered in Las Vegas recently for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons’ 75th Anniversary Scientific Conference. By attending, Roussel was able to expand his surgical knowledge and skills training.

Roussel also recently received specialized training in performing a new procedure specifically developed to correct all three dimensions of bunion deformity.

He has also recently received specialized training in performing the Cartiva procedure for patients suffering from the pain and limited motion of advanced arthritis in the great toe joint.
