WINCHESTER, Va. — The Harry F. Byrd Jr. School of Business at Shenandoah University will host its ninth annual Business Symposium on Friday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Halpin-Harrison Hall on the campus of Shenandoah University in Winchester for members of the local and regional business communities, as well as students of the university.

“Imagine: Your Business Legacy” is the theme of this year’s symposium, and attendees will hear from Ron Losby, president and chief executive officer of Steinway & Sons, during a keynote address.

The event is designed to inspire and educate attendees from for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

Attendees can also choose from an array of breakout sessions focused on current business issues and best practices.

As a result of sponsorships, including First Bank, the title sponsor, all high school and college students wishing to attend the Business Symposium may do so free of charge.

All others should visit for more information, pricing and to register. Early-bird registration is available until Tuesday, Feb. 28.

A free, satellite symposium event will be held at Shenandoah University’s Northern Virginia Campus-Scholar Plaza (44160 Scholar Plaza, Leesburg, VA 20176) that same day, streaming a live broadcast of the keynote speaker address at 9 a.m.
